Malty Media is coming to Wellington!

Right, well this is the first piece of content on this website. Malty Media is a kind of ambient DJ night which will be held fortnightly at Katipo cafe in Willis Street.

Those involved are currently Jet Jaguar (Michael Upton, downbeat jazzy blippy blippy extraordinaire, much liked by the right people) and his bumbling sidekick Aquaboogie (Stuart McDonald, random accumulator of joke samples and drones, unknown to pretty much everyone).

The basic plan is to hold a regular electronic night for a bit of a laugh until we get sick of it. The format for the evenings will be a mixture of music by other people that we like, tracks we've cobbled together ourselves, and other stuff we might throw in.

The first gig is on Wednesday 21 November, from 7-9. Pop in after work for a bit of a mid-week chill-out.
